
Police announced they arrested three people responsible for armed robberies and multiple carjackings in Oakland and throughout the East Bay.
Two of the suspects are also connected to an attempted homicide in Dublin.
The Oakland, Dublin and Antioch Police Departments worked together to serve a warrant at a home in Antioch on Thursday, according to KPIX.
Authorities recovered five firearms as well, including four handguns and a rifle.
Carjackings are on the rise in Oakland, where there’s been a reported 200 carjackings this year as opposed to 93 in the same time frame last year.
Earlier this week, Oakland Police Spokesman Paul Chambers warned all drivers in the area to be on guard.
