Police offer $50K reward for information on murder of San Francisco man

The San Francisco Police Department is offering a $50,000 reward for any information that will lead to an arrest and prosecution in the case of a murdered Bayview man.

Marcus Harrison, 42, was shot and killed in 2020. Seeking closure from the tragedy, his family is asking for the public's help to identify a suspect or suspects.

On Nov. 4, 2020 at around 9:14 p.m., officers responded to 1510 Wallace Ave. in San Francisco's Bayview neighborhood for a report of a shooting. When they arrived at the scene they found Harrison on the ground suffering from a gunshot wound to the torso.

Despite life-saving efforts from emergency personnel, Harrison succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.

San Francisco police have authorized a $50,000 reward for information leading to the identification, arrest and conviction of those responsible for the homicide. Authorities have not released any further information about potential suspects or a motive in Harrison's death.
