Police are conducting an investigation after a woman was briefly kidnapped in Stockton Saturday night.
At 8:50 p.m., Stockton police received reports that a woman was standing in the area of Bridle Path and Welch Avenue when a suspect approached her and pulled her into his vehicle.

According to officers, the woman fought back as the suspect drove away which led to him to stop and let her out.
The woman ran to a nearby residence and called the police.
Police said the suspect is a Hispanic man, but revealed no further identification. It is not currently known if the suspect and victim know each other.
