Back in April, a 44-year-old man in Germany broke into a kindergarten classroom and stole among other things, a laptop, some fish sticks, pasta, and a smart speaker used for the students' story-time.
Why the fish sticks, we don't know. Hey, maybe he can't burgle on any empty stomach.
Anyway, he probably would've gotten away with the theft had he not tried downloading new stories onto the smart speaker which revealed its location to the manufacturers, who were able to relay that information to the police.
According to the Associated Press, the man is now facing charges, though the specifics have not been made public.
The smart speaker was returned to the class, which the kids were obviously thrilled about. No word on the fish sticks, though.
