Temperatures are dropping across Oregon again, which means it's time for kids to start bundling up before they leave the house. But for some of them, it's not as easy as throwing on a jacket. That's why we've partnered with the Portland Firefighters Association and Operation Warm for Coats for Kids.
There are over 100,000 children living in poverty here in Oregon state, and this year they need your help finding an affordable, quality jacket to keep out the cold more than ever. Purchasing coats can be difficult for families of growing kids. That's why we're teaming up with your local firefighters to help put as many kids as possible in brand-new, American-made jackets this winter.
Every $20 donated puts a brand new coat on a child in need.
Thanks to First Call Heating & Cooling for matching up to $1,000 in donations!
And thank you to Window Nation, "Helping Portland's kids see a brighter, warmer tomorrow", for matching up to $1000 in donations!
Every dollar counts toward giving a kid a jacket that will keep them happy, healthy, and warm this holiday season.
Thanks for the help!
