On May 3, Saint Louis University held a sold-out golf tournament to raise funds for its athletic department, and raise the spirits of fans and sponsors at the historic Norwood Hills Country Club. Sunshine, food and drink, and 18 holes of championship golf awaited them. Sounded like a perfect opportunity for our "Golf Happy Hour" crew.
Tom Ackerman, Marina Horton and videographer Justin Barr explored the course and updated the men's and women's basketball programs with head coaches Travis Ford and Lisa Stone.
As our hearts remain close to the Billikens after the passing of assistant basketball coach Ford Stuen, we hope the video of this gathering is a reminder of the love and togetherness that exists within the SLU community, now and for years to come.
Norwood Hills Country Club is the site of the PGA Tour Champions' Ascension Charity Classic presented by Emerson, Sept. 9-12, 2021.
