ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - With his second hit of the night, St. Louis Cardinals catcher Yadier Molina reached 2,000 career hits on Thursday.
It was an infield single in the second inning and a line drive single in the seventh that got him to the career milestone.
Only five other Cardinals players have 2,000 or more hits in their career: Stan Musial, Lou Brock, Rogers Hornsby, Albert Pujols and Enos Slaughter.
