"I just try to get better and try to get the best out of me every day."
That's Albert Pujols talking about hitting. Over the weekend, Pujols reached 689 homers in his career, which puts him in the top ten best hitters in the MLB. Pujols talked with KMOX's Tom Ackerman about how he grew his skill, and how it's gotten him where he is in baseball.
"I'm old school bro, I know what I need to do at the plate," he said. "I know what I need to do in the batting cage to get my swing going. And I just go out there and trust it."
