ST. LOUIS (KMOX) -- The re-trial of two former St. Louis City police officers, accused of a brutal assault on a fellow undercover detective, is underway. And for a second time, an-all white jury is seated.

There was an alternate black juror, but defense attorney Scott Rosenblum successfully argued for his removal.

Former officers Christopher Myers and Dustin Boone are accused of assaulting Detective Luther Hall, who was working undercover, during a 2017 protest downtown. Myers and Boone are white; Hall is Black.

Myers faces a destruction of evidence charge for allegedly destroying Hall's cell phone. Boone is accused of deprivation of civil rights.
