A scheduled appearance of the Budweiser Clydesdales in the Ozarks has been canceled due to safety concerns for the company’s employees, according to reporting from KOLR TV.

Budweiser apparently declined to comment further, but some speculate that the cancellation is due to backlash the company has received after partnering with transgender influencer Dylan Mulvaney.

Some conservative celebrities have shown their disdain for Budweiser’s choice in working with Mulvaney. Kid Rock, for instance, posted a video on Instagram that shows him wearing a MAGA hat and shooting an automatic rifle at a case of Bud Light.

Despite the backlash against working with Mulvaney, Budweiser has stuck with their decision to partner with her. In a statement, they said the sponsorship was a gift to celebrate the one-year anniversary of Dylan coming out as a woman.
