The F-B-I has a message for those who might feel emboldened by the Saint Louis school shooting.

"We think what's happening is that likely there are some, you know some of our kids who have seen this and it is, they're thinking about it right now and so they have started talking about this or sharing this, whether they think it's a joke or they're serious."

Special agent Jay Greenberg says on Monday - following the tragedy - his agency noticed an "uptick" in allegations of potential school shooters around the area.

"Please have a conversation with your kid if they're old enough to have a device, and make sure that any hoax or any joke that they're sending about a school shooting right now will be taken incredibly seriously."

A second request - Greenberg wants anyone with photos or video of the incident to send them to www.fbi.gov/centralvpa
