ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - Congratulations to KMOX anchor Debbie Monterrey as she was named an honoree for the St. Louis Press Club's 2021 "Media Persons of the Year."
Since 2003 she's been a staple of morning radio in St. Louis as a co-host of Total Information AM. She's been awarded five Edward R. Murrow Awards for best feature and sports feature reporting, two Missouri Broadcasting Awards, a National Scene Award from SAG-AFTRA for her work highlighting diversity and most recently, she and her team won the 2021 National Edward R. Murrow Award for Best Newscast.
She and the other four honorees of this year's award will be recognized at a live and in-person fundraiser in the spring. Check stlpressclub.org for more details coming at a later date.
