ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - A man was shot after he says he was driving on a highway in St. Louis and a woman flourished a gun at him on Wednesday afternoon. A police report says the man was shot after following her vehicle.
Police responded to a shooting incident in the Old North St. Louis neighborhood around 1:45 p.m. and found the victim, a 44-year-old white man, with a gunshot wound to his arm. He told police he was driving on Interstate 70 when a white car pulled up next to him and saw a Black woman waved a gun.
He says he followed the vehicle to try and get the license plate number, exiting the highway and driving to Hadley and Montgomery Streets. He told police that's when the vehicle he was following turned around and fired shots at him.

The car drove past him shooting. He called police after realizing he'd be shot in the arm.
Police say he was taken to the hospital in stable condition and an investigation is ongoing.
