SAINT LOUIS, MO (KMOX) - Police officers in St. Louis were responding to calls of shots fired early Saturday morning when they witnessed another crime in the process of being committed -- a crime they were directly involved in.
Investigators say while the officers were sitting in their vehicle, a man came up to the door, produced a gun, and tried to carjack them.

According to FOX 2. “The officers were able to maneuver out of harm’s way while the suspect simultaneously discovered he was attempting to carjack a fully marked police car. The suspect took off running.”
