Ashcroft says it would be unconstitional to require proof of vaccination to vote, but if any polling places were to attempt it...

"If an election authority tries to stop people from being able to use their constitutional right to vote over something like that, like a vaccine mandate, we will come after them," Ashcroft says.

To get ready for the next big election, Ashcroft wants the Missouri legislature to pass a new law requiring that electronic voting equipment be unable to connect with the internet. He says he would also like to see a shift back to hand-marked paper ballots.

"We have not seen evidence that any of our election has been hacked," Ashcroft says. "But we have the option to do something simple like go to hand-marked ballot. Nobody has ever hacked a No. 2 pencil."
