Around 6:20 am, MetroLink security teams spotted a suspicious metal container on the Union Station platform near Clark and 18th. "They notified us that they felt that it was out of place, it appeared to be suspicious," says Kevin Scott, General Manager of Security for Bi-State Development,

Scott tells KMOX News, Metro security closed the platform and called in law enforcement. "The container was left by an individual on the platform. All of that was captured on video, on a live CCTV feed. We were able to provide that to law enforcement." Scott says the container was empty.

Trains were stopped through the area for about an hour and a half.
