ST. LOUIS, MO (KMOX) - The COVID Recession is Worse for Women.

COVID has forced many families to make decisions they never dreamed they would have to make.

Federal jobless figures show far more women than men have exited the workforce. Many of those women don't know when they can return.

Kellee works in finance, but her firm hit the pause button amid uncertainty at the start of the pandemic. The educational needs of her young son are now her priority. KMOX's Megan Lynch speaks with her about shifting gears.
