ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - Another school district is switching to in-person learning for some of its students.
At Tuesday's board meeting, Parkway School District decided to do a couple weeks of hybrid learning - part-time in classroom and part-time virtual learning – starting October 22 for their kindergarten through 8th-grade students.
Then all those students will return to classrooms for five day a week starting on Nov. 9, "provided that the key health metrics continue to support this decision," stated the district.
You can read the full announcement, here.
Parkway says high school students "will continue Distance Learning for the remainder of the first semester."
Another one of the largest school districts in the area, Rockwood School District, will allow students in preschool through second grade to return to the classroom starting Wednesday.
This is a breaking news story that will be updated.
