ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - Armed carjackers ordered a woman out of her car, then threw her baby that was inside the vehicle out the window at her, police say.

The 22-year-old woman was in north St. Louis at Union Boulevard and Minerva Avenue around 3 a.m. with her 1-year-old son and two other adult male passengers in the car. Police say, three robbers armed with handguns then ordered everyone out of the car.

When the woman begged one of the suspects to let the child go, police say a suspect grabbed the baby by the coat and threw him at her, causing him to fall to the ground.

There were no serious injuries.

One suspect was described as a man 5 feet, 5 inches tall with dreadlocks, wearing a black ski mask, a black hoodie and light blue jeans with rhinestones; the second suspect is described as a man with a light complexion, 5 feet, 6 inches tall, 150 pounds wearing a grey North Face hoodie; no description was given for the third suspect, according to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.
