FLORISSANT, Mo. (KMOX) - Some drivers in this north St. Louis County town are going to receive a special surprise if they're pulled over by police this holiday season.
Instead of a speeding ticket, some lucky people will instead be given a $100 gift card as part of the Florissant Police Department's sixth annual "Summons of Joy" campaign. Thanks to donations from local church organizations, the police department has been able to bring back this giveaway even amid this pandemic in 2020.

Police do want to stress that not everyone is going to get off the hook if they are speeding, so don't go around trying to get pulled over by breaking the law.
