Brittany Wilson, 32, was arrested for the death of Harrison Stephen Foster, 34, outside of the home they shared in Cape Girardeau. She called police to report his death and officers found him dead with multiple stab wounds around 11:05 p.m.

According to a police statement, Wilson admitted to using meth with Foster earlier that day. She also told investigators that she believed Foster had several other entities living in his body, and she was setting him free by stabbing him.

She said she grabbed the sword underneath their bed and stabbed him in the upper torso after she thought one of the entities inside him took over, according to police. She they stabbed him two more times, police say.

Wilson says her boyfriend said "I don't want to die" shortly after she stabbed him, according to the Southeast Missourian.

Police say the sword was found in the front yard when they arrived.

She has been charged with first-degree murder and armed criminal action, and was being held on a $2 million bond.

She pleaded not guilty to the charges in court this week.
