St. Louis Public Schools Superintendent Dr. Kelvin Adams says administrators are working on a plan to resume learning -- virtually -- next week.

Adams says authorities need to continue to access the buildings for their investigation. He adds it will take time "erase the evidence of this terrible violence and restore the school."  He adds it's likely the two schools will not be ready for students to return until after the Thanksgiving holiday.

The district says it is working on plans to return personal belongings that were left behind when students fled.

All other St. Louis Public Schools will remain open.
