ST. LOUIS (KMOX) - Contact tracing is now up to you in St. Louis County.
County Executive Dr. Sam Page announced Monday that the health department is too overwhelmed and the St. Louis County Department of Health will no longer do contact tracing if you test positive for COVID-19.
If you test positive, it's up to you to notify those you've been in close contact with and isolate for 10 days. Those who are contacted will need to get tested and also notify their close contacts, Page says.
Starting Tuesday at noon, new restrictions take effect in St. Louis County that include everyone creating a social bubble of only 10 people, including family and friends. It's one of the new regulations announced last week by Page, which also includes a ban on indoor dining.
