Hate speech and swastikas, found tagged on Affton High this morning.
Affton School District Superintendent Travis Brancht says the vandalism occurred during the overnight hours and the school immediately contacted law enforcement when the graffiti was found. He says maintenance staff is working with an outside restoration company to remove it.
Brancht adds the district stands with its students, staff and family, along with the community in finding this vandalism unacceptable.
A post on an Affton parents Facebook group is attempting to organize family to wait outside the school during dismissal with signs and messages of love as a form of counter protest to the graffiti.
