Sullivan woman charged in Capitol riot

SULLIVAN, MO (KMOX)-Federal authorities are looking for a Sullivan, Missouri woman who is accused of storming the U.S. Capitol in January 6th.

Prosecutors say several tipsters, including a former high school classmate, have identified 20 -ear-old Emily Hernandez as the person holding House Speaker Nancy Pelosi's broken nameplate during the riot. She also allegedly posted pictures and videos from inside the Capitol on Snapchat.

Hernandez is accused of knowingly engaging in disorderly conduct to disrupt government business - and stealing something of national value. She faces five charges.

Authorities are also looking for the man seen behind Hernandez in an ITV News video taken inside the Capitol, wearing a yellow St. Louis Blues stocking cap.
