Movie crews and famous actors will arrive in St. Louis next week to shoot an upcoming film that revolves around the city, a young burn victim and legendary broadcaster Jack Buck. Buck will be played by actor William H. Macy.
In his weekly Three Good Things segment, KMOX host Scott Jagow tells the uplifting story of "On Fire," a movie based on a book by St. Louis-born motivational speaker John O'Leary. When he was nine, O'Leary was literally consumed by fire and was moments from dying. His remarkable recovery came in part due to repeated visits by Buck.
Scott also tells us of a new band that only makes quirky songs about baseball and about a new study on the power of music to ease physical pain. Listen below.
