A man in Ohio tried to return 14 cases of Bud Light to a local Kroger grocery store, telling the clerks that his wife accidentally bought the wrong brand of beer. However, security camera footage tells a different story.

Video shows the man entering the Delhi Township, Ohio store and piling a shopping cart with the 14 cases of Bud Light. He then walks right out of the store, only to immediately walk back in and try to return them.

He told the clerks that he needed to return all 14 cases, because his wife accidentally bought the wrong brand of beer, according to the Delhi Township Police Department, per WLWT.

The employees couldn't verify his story and process the return, so he stormed out with all of the Bud Light.

After checking the security footage, store employees called the police.

According to NBC 5, police are now looking for the thief.
