WAYNESVILLE, MO – A US Army soldier stationed at Ft. Leonard Wood has gone missing during a kayaking trip in south central Missouri.
Fort officials say, Spec. Joshua Morrison was kayaking on the Gasconade River and last seen near Ruby’s Landing. Search parties found his backpack and kayak about a mile downstream from where they believe he put in.
The Army did not say where Morrison is from, but did say they were in touch with his family.
