(KMOX) - The 4-year-old boy who was told by a mall Santa that he couldn't have a Nerf gun for Christmas has been brought to tear again, but this time for a good reason.

Video went viral of Michael from Norridge, Ill. crying after a Santa impersonator at the Harlem Irving Plaza mall told him "no guns" after the boy asked for a Nerf gun for Christmas. His mother, Sabella DeCarlo, has since edited the viral video.

But new videos of her son are being shared like crazy. One comes from the National Rifle Association (NRA), who sent a new Santa to deliver a bundle of Nerf guns and have a playful shootout with Michael.

"Mean Santa won't be happy I have this," Michael says in the video.

The mall has also tried to make things right with the family. They sent another "real" Santa to also deliver a Nerf gun.

The Santa who told Michael "no" has "turned in his resignation," stated the mall.
