An incident report from the Springfield Fire Department says officers found the two incendiary devices made with mortar tubes, balloons, and coiled fuzes with a tripwire attached, according to OzarksFirst. The home belonged to James Phelps, who along with Timothy Norton, have been jailed since mid-September on kidnapping charges in the Rainwater case.

Court documents says there's photo evidence of 33-year-old Rainwater being held in a cage on Phelp's property in Lebanon, Missouri. The property was burned to the ground Oct. 4.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.

Phelps told police in August that Rainwater had been staying on his property while she "got back on her feet." But he said she left in the middle of the night, possibly to go to Colorado.

The case has gained national attention with viral social media posts spreading rumors and possible clues has to what happened to Rainwater.
