A teenager has died after being shot near downtown Wichita. It happened around 8:30 p.m. Tuesday evening in the 500 block of west Central, between Nims and Veterans Parkway.
Police found the man, 19, with a single gunshot wound. Detectives are working to determine what led up to the shooting. No arrests have been made.
