Things went from bad to worse for the Rangers, as outfielder Adolis Garcia became the second player to exit the club's series finale against the Rays early due to an injury.

In the eighth inning of the Rangers' 5-1 win, Garcia was plunked on his left forearm by a pitch from Rays reliever Kevin Kelly. The outfielder immediately grabbed his arm and didn't appear to move it as he walked off the field with assistance from the team's training staff.

Garcia's injury came after the club lost starting pitcher Jon Gray, who was forced from his start after being hit in the leg by a comebacker in the fifth inning.

After the game, Rangers manager Bruce Bochy said X-rays on Garcia and Gray came back negative, and each player would be day-to-day with bruises.

Garcia has 24 home runs and an American League-leading 80 RBI this season.
