After pouring resources into the defensive end position over the past several years and trying to find an elite pass rusher, it appears Buffalo Bills general manager Brandon Beane finally landed one.
According to multiple reports, the Bills will be signing free agent defensive and Von Miller. NFL Network's Ian Rapoport was first to report the news and says the deal is for six years and worth $120 million.
Shortly after the news of Miller broke, Adam Schefter reported that the Bills will also be adding tight end OJ Howard.
33-year-old Miller leads all active NFL players in career sacks with 115.5. He's an eight-time pro bowler, three-time All Pro, and has won two Super Bowl championships, including this past season with the Los Angeles Rams. He was also named Super Bowl 50 MVP while a member of the Denver Broncos.
The 27-year-old Howard was a first round pick of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2017, but failed to live up to expectations through five seasons there. His best season came in 2018 when he caught 34 passes for 565 yards and five touchdowns.
