A music hall in Downtown Arlington will host a concert on Thursday night featuring a dozen Texas artists raising money for the families of Uvalde victims. "United for Uvalde" will take place at Arlington Music Hall.

"It's a good community event with a heartfelt goal behind it," said Arlington Music Hall owner Cary Moon.

United for Uvalde will run from 7-10 p.m. on Thursday and includes performances by Randy Brown, Ryder Grimes, Case Hardin, Steve Helms, Ariel Hutchins, Gary Kyle, James Lann, Darrin Morris, James Nored, Jamie Richards, Mo Robson, and Tanner Sparks.

"It was an easy call to get these artists involved. They were all willing to participate," Moon said.

Moon said the Crowne Plaza in Arlington donated rooms for artists, their bands, and staff. Mellow Mushroom is donating meals for artists and staff.

Since the hotel and restaurant donated supplies and the artists are playing for free, Moon said 100% of the money raised will be donated to the Robb School Memorial Fund. The fund was established at First State Bank of Uvalde, which says 100% of the amount collected will benefit victims' families and survivors.

"This will be a community event, and it's not just the community of where we live," Moon said. "It's a regional community of artists, police officers who will be attending and coming out to show support for victims of Uvalde."

United for Uvalde runs from 7-10 p.m. on Thursday. Tickets cost $20 and can be bought here.
