There are plenty of reasons why millions of people have decided to move to Texas over the last decade. Now, the Lone Star state has given potential imports yet another reason to pack up and head to Texas.
Three Texas cities were recently placed in the top 10 of the best job markets in the United States, with DFW landing the number four spot on the list.
Texas has grown a lot in recent years, and a new report done by the Greater Austin Chamber of Commerce, using data from the Texas Workforce Commission and the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, shows that growth will continue in 2022. According to Dallas Culture Map, DFW now ranks as the fourth best job market in the United States. Austin and San Antonio also landed in the top 10, with Austin claiming the number two spot.
"Statewide, over the last 12 months, all private industries added jobs," claims the report. The entire metroplex saw a job rate increase over the last year, helping them land the number four position on the list. Now there is yet another reason for people to move to DFW.
