To say the Portillo’s in The Colony has been a roaring success would be a gross understatement.
During the company’s Q4 earnings call, CEO Michael Osanloo revealed that Portillo’s newest location, and its first in Texas, has been their number one restaurant since it opened, and earns an incredible $48,000 a DAY in sales!
Osanloo told investors during the call, “That annualizes to $17 million per year and that's a crazy number.
“We feel really good that this restaurant will significantly exceed our underwriting expectations and sets us up for further success in Texas as we continued to expand.”
Per FOX 4, Portillo's is expected to open more North Texas locations, with stores in Allen and Arlington coming later this year.
