Danny Trejo is an 18-year-old senior at Glenn High School who works the graveyard shift at Whataburger Fridays and Saturdays.
Leander man Cody Trapp and his 8-year-old son Preston pulled up to Whataburger an evening Trejo was working, and took special notice of how hard Trejo was working.

Trapp told KVUE, "This kid is running back and forth, back and forth, at least 50 yards one way, 50 yards back, and it must have been like 15 times."
Trapp recorded a video of Trejo working and posted it to TikTok where it went absolutely viral, garnering over 2 million views and a TON of attention for Trejo.
Since Trejo is not on social media, he had NO idea of his internet fame until one evening when his mom came into his room. He explained, "My mom came into my room and just like tears, crying. I thought she said, 'Son,' and I was scared. I was scared because, like, I thought I did something wrong or something. I was like, 'Wait, but wait, Mom, did I do something wrong?' And she said, 'Son, I'm so proud of you."
And then, the donations started rolling in. A GoFundMe was established for Trejo, which raised over $9,000 to reward the teen for his hard work and dedication to his job, which Trapp surprised him with earlier this week.
Trejo starts the Texas Department of Public Safety Academy on October 18th!
