More high-tech jobs are coming to North Texas.
Walmart announces plans to put up two new automated logistics centers in Lancaster.
The Arkansas-based retailer says it's building a 1.5-million-square-foot fulfillment center and a 730,000 square-foot grocery distribution center.
The two new facilities will create about 1,000 new jobs, forty percent of which will require STEM skills, according to company officials.
The fulfillment center is slated to open in 2023, while the grocery distribution center will open the following year.
