Sure, the air is stifling hot. But the ground is super dry, and that's a dangerous combination for the ground. Some parts of north Texas are under a Red Flag Warning which means there's a very high risk of wildfires.
We've already seen more than a few wildfires already this summer.
The drought is making everything just tinder dry.
