A multi-vehicle crash Saturday night injured one person and shut down the northbound lanes of the Dallas North Tollway, officials say.
At about 8:30 p.m., traffic had slowed on the tollway near Northaven Road because a motorist was stranded.
A vehicle in the backup was hit and at least five vehicles were involved in a chain reaction crash, including one that caught fire, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.
