Dallas Police are investigating a shooting that took place on Thursday afternoon within an apartment complex's parking garage that ultimately killed an 18-year-old.
Police say they received a shooting call at approximately 3:27 p.m. at the Altas Design District Apartments. Once on location at 1516 Inspiration Drive, police found a man on the second story of the parking garage having sustained gunshot wounds. He was subsequently taken to a nearby hospital.
Just over an hour after receiving the first call, at 4:38 p.m. police received another regarding two further men who had entered another local hospital having sustained gunshot wounds. Police subsequently realized that these men were involved in the initial shooting at the Altas Design District Apartments. One of these men, 18-year-old Darius Ali Claiborn, later died of his injuries.
