Three suspects have been arrested by the Collin County Sheriff’s Office in the case of a failed robbery that resulted in the shooting of a 13-year-old.
According to CBSDFW, the incident took place on August 24th in the 300 block of Covey Lane near Melissa. The child injured in the process was saved by Deputies who stopped the bleeding using a tourniquet.
Cung Hup, Zenzele Dube, and Bawi Bik have since been arrested and charged with first-degree felony counts of Aggravated Robbery, Injury to a Child, and Engaging in Organized Criminal Activity.
The suspects are currently being held in Denton County Jail and Collin County Detention Facility with their bond set at $450,000.
