DALLAS (1080 KRLD)- There is a tragic update from Dallas police about a 7-year-old boy who was shot while in bed Sunday. Police are now saying little Kyrie Barnes has died from his injuries.
The shooting happened around 9:30 p.m. Sunday, July 2nd at his apartment on Rothington Road. Police say the gunfire came from outside the apartment. No one else was hurt.
Police are asking that anyone with information please reach out as the investigation into that shooting continues.
