Carrollton police are holding the juvenile suspect they accuse of shooting a 17-year-old to death last month.
Police say the victim Alejandro Cortez was already dead when police arrived at the scene at a liquor store at Josey Lane and Wintergreen. At the time, police said they knew who did it but did not identify him because he's underage.
Now, Carrollton Police say the juvenile suspect has been captured and will be charged with murder.
Police have not said where the shooter was found but they acknowledge help from police in Farmers Branch, Gainesville and Oklahoma City along with Texas DPS and the US Marshals Service.
