LANCASTER (1080 KRLD)- A teenager has been indicted for shooting Lancaster High School football star Tony Evans last month.
Keyshawn Harris, 18 Dallas, will stand trial for felony murder in the April 11, 2021 shooting death of 17-year old Lancaster High School senior Tony Evans.
The shooting happened at a Love Field-area hotel during a party a month ago. Sources involved in the investigation say both had been involved in some sort of altercation when Evans simply asked the two words...."you good?" and he was shot. The nature of the altercation has not been revealed.
Evans, a star wide receiver for Lancaster High School, had agreed to play football at the University of Wyoming this fall.
