Adolphus hotel evacuated due to basement fire; no injuries reported

The Adolphus hotel in downtown Dallas was briefly evacuated Thursday after a fire in the basement, officials say.

The blaze was quickly put out. Dallas Fire-Resuce said crews are on the scene and clearing the smoke.

As of 3 p.m. Thursday, the guests had not been allowed to return inside. No injuries were reported and the cause of the fire has not been disclosed.
