Meet Creed!

At almost three years old, Creed is a roly-poly barrel of fun! He gets so excited when he sees his familiar people and dog friends that he shakes and shimmies his 61 pounds in delight! Creed, a terrier pit bulldog mix, loves playing in the water and spends lots of time in his puppy pool! He plays well with other dogs and walks well on a leash, and especially enjoys taking long walks in nature. Creed is happy go lucky kind of guy, chasing birds and squirrels. However, he's not a great fan of car rides. He can be a little shy around kids so as long as they can go slow until he gets to know them, they should be rolling around in puddles together in no time!
Creed would like a family with older children—five years and up. Even with his underbite, Creed has a beautiful smile! His stocky body is mostly white with flecks of black and he has a large black spot on his back, his tail is half black and half white, and his ears have some black fur on them, too. Creed isn’t an inside barker and doesn’t tear things up in the home. Truth be told, he’s an inside couch potato! Creed is eager to become a loving member of a forever family. Make an appointment to meet him today! He’s waiting for you! An appointment is required for you to meet Creed so please visit his profile on the SPCA of Texas website to learn more about him and make an appointment at here. Through the end of July, all adult animal adoptions—animals six months and older, which includes Creed—are only $25.
Meet Lady Dogiva!

Lady Dogiva, a sweet, 2 ½-year-old, female shepherd mix is looking to meet her furever family! At 58 pounds, she really loves other dogs and people. She had a fun time on her recent Borrow A Buddy adventure, romping around from place to place, meeting new people, and other furry friends—even cats! She took treats very gently and didn't mind amusing her foster mom playing dress up sporting a headband and sunglasses. Lady Dogiva is a tan beauty with short hair and a coat as soft as velvet. Her happy grin is infectious! At the shelter, Lady Dogiva loves running and playing, especially since she’s allowed to get out off-leash. She is a really good listener and is eager to learn new
things.
When you take Lady Dogiva home, she will be your best friend for life! Her dream home is really any home filled with love. She’s seen lots of kids, and would love to make friends with some, so if you have children, please bring them by to meet her! An appointment is required for you to meet Lady Dogiva so please visit her profile on the SPCA of Texas website to learn more about her and make an appointment here. Through the end of July, all adult animal adoptions—animals six months and older, which includes Lady Dogiva—are only $25.
Meet Zeus!

In ancient Greece, Zeus was regarded as the sender of thunder and lightning—loud and frightening! That certainly doesn’t describe our Zeus! This sweet Senior of 7 1/2 years is a laid back couch potato who loves his people. As an 84-pound, mixed Terrier/Pitt Bulldog, he will go anywhere with you! Zeus is great in the car and very social out in public. If you want a dog you can take anyplace, Zeus is your guy! Zeus is a stocky fella, white with large spots of brown on his rump and torso. And a smile that just won’t quit. He is food motivated and knows basic commands including sit and shake and will wait patiently for treats. Zeus is a playful guy who loves toys and romping around with other dogs. He has a big goofy personality and adores people of all sizes—especially children!
Our boy Zeus is the perfect mix of goofy and affectionate and is itching for a loving family to share that fun and love with—a family to love him and give him all the pets. If you have a home with a yard Zeus needs a 6-foot or higher solid fence. Zeus doesn't like to be crated and he’s not a huge fan of cats. And Zeus, who’s over the age of seven, qualifies for our “Seniors for Seniors” program. If you are age 65 or older, you can adopt Zeus for free! An appointment is required for you to meet Zeus so please visit his profile on the SPCA of Texas website to learn more about him and make an appointment here. Through the end of July, all adult animal adoptions—animals six months and older, which includes Zeus—are only $25.
Remember that in July, adult dogs and cats can be adopted for only a $25 adoption fee. Fee includes spay/neuter surgery, age-appropriate vaccinations, a heartworm test for dogs six months and older and a FIV/FeLV test for cats 4 months and older, initial flea/tick preventative and heartworm preventative, a microchip, 30 days of MetLife Insurance, a free 14-day wellness exam with VCA Animal Hospitals, a rabies tag and a free leash.
