FORT WORTH (1080 KRLD) - We're learning new details of what happened the night of the mass shooting in Fort Worth the night before the Fourth of July.

Brandon Williams, 19, and Christopher Redic, 20, are both charged with three counts of murder in the deaths of three people in the mass shooting at ComoFest on the night of July 3rd.

Eight others were wounded that night.

The arrest affidavit states that a witness told detectives that Williams had gotten into an argument outside the Como Food Mart with a man who had previously shot up his mother's car; and that Williams and Redic started shooting after punches were thrown.

The affidavit states Williams admitted to being the first person to fire his weapon, firing at least four rounds.

Redic admitted to firing around six shots after hearing the initial gunshots.

Detectives say both Williams and Redic admitted to their roles in the shooting.

Both remain in the Lon Evans Corrections Center, each on $1.5 million bond.

Williams was subsequently charged with unlawful carrying of a weapon, which tacks on an additional $1,500 to his bond amount.
