Allen High School alumni and NFL quarterback Kyler Murray is among many pro athletes donating to funds in support of the victims of Saturday's Allen mall shooting.
The Arizona Cardinals has tweeted that Murray has donated to a fund for William Cho after the tragic loss of his family in the Allen Outlet mall shooting on Saturday.
William is the 6-year-old boy whose parents and 3-year-old brother were among the eight people killed. A GoFundMe page set up on behalf of the little boy has now raised about $1.2 million.
Murray is also identified as a top donor to the Allen, TX Shooting Victims’ Fund, donating $10,000 there.
Murray has close ties to the community. He began attending Allen High School as a sophomore and led the Eagles to three straight UIL state titles before playing for Oklahoma and now the Arizona Cardinals.
