Another Fort Worth police corporal has been stripped of his policing powers after being arrested.
The department says Cpl. Mark Force was arrested Wednesday morning for allegedly assaulting a family member while off-duty.
Force is a seven-year veteran of the department; he is now on restricted duty as the criminal and administrative investigations move forward.
Force is the second FWPD corporal to be placed on restricted duty this month.
Cpl. James Howard, a 26-year veteran, had his police powers stripped following his arrest for domestic violence in Rio Grande County, Colorado.
